Had lunch today. What can I say? excellent in all dimensions. Room is clean, modern but also has warmth. Food, excellent. We were a party of three and all primi & secondi were outstanding. My wife's filleto di manzo was PERFECTLY cooked. Taking a bite released juices that were essentially a sauce. My capriolo (venison) was also perfect. Seared and flavorful with a lampone sauce. Testorolo with a great pesto and great subtlety. Desserts on par with the rest of the meal. We eat at plenty of Michelin restaurants and Gugu could easily be a 1*.

The location was cozy and local, the food was surprisingly good and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming! We will not forget the experiences we had here. They make both solid Italian dishes, but also advanced and creative variations at a high level. Highly recommended! I hope that Gugú continues to exist for many years to come, so we can visit them again. Gracie mille

Stumbled across this place and had such an incredible dinner we booked to eat again the following week. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the maitre de even went to the effort of translating the taster menu into English for us. The food was absolutely amazing, the chef is clearly very talented. The people of Bagnone are lucky to have such an amazing place on their doorstep. Thank you!

This is a very welcome spot for a village like Bagnone where tradition reigns heavy. The young brother and sister couple who run the place are clearly well prepared and committed both in the kitchen and the running of the place. I wish them luck.

Did a slight detour and found this gem. The town is cute and lovelyThe food here, it was unexpectedly great. The chef has so much passion in food!Staff was really professional and kind, while the wine list is just sufficient to match the food perfectly.Overall highly recommend this place
